Hi I'm Brian

I'm an economist, a CNA,a musician, a lucky husband, a proud daddy, a novice outdoorsman, and yes, even a gamer.I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up playing the bass in orchestras, jazz groups and yes, even garage bands. I had a scholarship at a university where I attended for 1 year prior to serving a mission for my faith. When I returned my scholarship wasn't waiting for me so with the Lord's help I had to figure out what I was going to do with my life. Today I am married to an amazing woman and we have the happiest little girl I have ever met. I received a BA in Economics with certificates in Public Administration and Nurse’s Aide. I am still studying to become a Nurse and I love research and risk management. I currently work as a CNA on an Orthopedics floor in the hospital but hope to someday be the one that provides the evidence in evidence based medical practices.

Why I am a Mormon

While I grew up in the church I am still a member today because I feel the Spirit of our Heavenly Father whenever I am actively engaged in learning His gospel or in performing service to others. I know my Savior Jesus Christ and what He has done for me. The Book of Mormon and the Bible have helped me to understand my relationship with my Heavenly Father and His Son. I am a Mormon because all of my important questions can be answered through learning & living the teachings of Christ. It brings great happiness to know that our Heavenly Father hasn't abandoned us today and that He has provided modern day prophets and leaders to help us with the unique challenges that face all of us today. I know that if we pray, study and live the gospel we can learn of its truthfulness and find peace in this world.

How I live my faith

I serve as the president of the sunday school in my particular congregation. The sunday school is one hour, of the three hour block of sunday meetings, that is centered on learning directly from the scriptures. I help to ask other members to become teachers and offer assistance and training in making their classroom expereinces positive and doctrinally sound. I am far from perfect in living my faith but I know through continued repentance and faith in Christ I can move forward towards becoming the person my Heavenly Father wants me to become.
