Hi I'm Dianne

I'm an Aussie wife, mother, medical scientist and avid crafter. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife to a wonderful husband and currently mother to two boys. I work part-time in a health laboratory, and love sewing, stamping and scrapbooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in the Church - my dad converted when he was 23, and my mum's parents joined the Church when she was 5. My father is a member of the Army, and growing up we moved around every two or three years. The Church was one of the big constants in my life. I think the first time I can remember feeling the Spirit strongly was on a Young Women camp in country NSW, and I knew that the Chuch was true. Since then I've had further experiences which testify to me that this is God's church and that He loves me and cares about me. And that for me (and now my own family), keeping His commandments is the way I can be happy and be able to live with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I've been fortunate to have been blessed with a little bit of musical talent, and currently I am able to use my talents at Church to provide music for Sunday Services.

Are Mormons Christians?

Dianne
Yes! Our entire faith is has Christ as its foundation. Jesus Christ is our Saviour. Without his Atonement in Gethsemane, his death on the cross, and his resurrection we have no hope of being able to return to live with Him again, and no opportunity to be with our families forever. It is by following Christ, His teachings and His example that we are able to find true happiness in this life. Show more Show less
