DISLIKE: Bad Moods, Fingernails on a chalkboard, Scary Movies (Mostly because they scare me). Grew up In Alaska. Married a Canadian. Hope to Travel to Europe and New Zealand.

Why I am a Mormon

I have many examples of why I'm a Mormon and I guess the biggest reason is that I prayed about it and received an answer that it was right. Of course, I had to do my part first and study it out in my mind, but every step of the way I received subtle confirmations that it was true.   I was raised a member, but I haven't kept going to church because I was "told" too. I had to figure it out on my own WHY I was a member. I have gone to other faiths, but this church is the only church to have every piece to the gospel puzzle. I know WHY I live the way that I live. Heavenly Father is a Glorious Being, and if I want to be able to see him face to face again some day, I must live my life in the most positive and wholesome way possible to me. No unclean thing can dwell with God. This church has shown me How to live that way so that I can be in his presence again. This church has given me purpose. Why I am here on there Earth, Where I came from, and Where I am going after this life. I know what my mission here is and so I can more fully enjoy the life that I have worry free. I LOVE being a Mormon. It makes me Happy.

How I live my faith

I currently am a Compassionate Service leader, which is kind of fun, because I get to see all the new babies in the ward! I Plan meals for women who have just had their babies so that they can focus on baby time instead of 'What's for meal time?' It's great because I get to deal with Food and new borns. And who doesn't absolutely LOVE food and babies! I also help out when families are in need. Death's, Sickness, you name it. Anything where someone will need food, or a little help getting their house clean, I organize the other women in our Ward to help out when there is a need. And it feels great to serve.
