Hi I'm Aimee

I grew up as an Air Force Brat and then joined the Marines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in South Eastern Ohio with my husband and 4 girls. I'm a stay at home mom. I love animals, especially horses and dogs. One of my favorite things to do is play games with family and friends, sewing, quilting and crafting. I grew up as what is known as an Air Force Brat. I loved moving all over the world. I've lived in many different states in the US as well as Japan and Germany. I love to travel and see new places. I'm grateful for the experiences I've had because of the places I've been.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong love for my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that he lives and loves me. I was raised in the LDS faith. I was taught the principles and ordinances of the gospel. I was able to learn for myself that Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is a witness of Jesus Christ and is true. The spirit has testified this truth to me. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have taught the children of our church for many years. I love to feel of their spirit. They are so happy and have a great desire to do what is right. In serving the children of the church I have come to truly love them and I have gained a testimony of our Heavenly Father's love for them. I am currently serving in the Young Women's. This has been such a testimony builder for me. The youth of our church are such a great example to me.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

We believe that God is not spirit, but flesh and bone. We believe we were created after his image and that we came to earth to become more like him. Show more Show less

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost has blessed my greatly throughout my life. He has bore witness to me time and time again about the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of his influence I know that I am indeed a daughter of God and that he knows me personally. He has guided me, comforted me and has taught me things that no book can. I am so grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost. This most precious gift is available to all who choose to be baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.
