Hi I'm Lana

I'm a Mormon. I have just finished my FIRST 50 years and excited about the next 50! I am a wife and mother of 3 teenagers!

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom with 3 kids. They are getting older and I now have time to figure out what I would like to do with the second half of my life. I love relaxation, meditation, guided imagery and hypnotherapy. I love learning anything new and reading historical fiction books.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I want to follow Jesus Christ. I don't want to be lead by any other. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was formed on the earth today by Him and is lead today by Him. The church is set up the same way he organized it back when he was teaching and preaching His gospel here on earth. I've attended many other churches and while I found things I enjoyed about them I really truly only want to devote myself to following Jesus Christ. Being a member of His church gets me closer to Him now and hopefully in the afterlife. My goal is to reach the Celestial Kingdom so that I can live with my Heavenly Father (and my family) again. I want to be a member of His church, The Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I strive to live the commandments though I fall short each and every day. I try to start and end my day with prayer. I work with the youth girls in our stake helping them to feel of their Heavenly Fathers love for them. I visit with ladies every month where we talk about the plan of salvation, home, family, work, school etc. We have a support system in the church that helps me and others when things are going well as well as when life gets challenging. It's nice to know I have several women and men who I can readily call on and count on when I need a helping hand.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Lana
If you want to know for yourself with a surety, read the Book of Mormon praying before and after each session to know if what you are reading is true or false. Heavenly Father is the only one I would trust with such important questions. Living without your own testimony of any gospel principal will only get you so far. You have to have your own, personal testimony, your own personal affirmation From God himself that you are on the right path, that you have found the fullness of the gospel here on earth today and that there is no other that has the fullness of the gospel on earth at this time.
