Hi I'm Julie

I am a wife. I am Mom to 7 beautiful children, 1 son & 6 daughters. I am Nana to my cute granddaughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mom to my 7 beautiful children. I have one son & 6 daughters. I love being a grandma (Nana) to my son's daughter. I love living the gospel & attending church activities/meetings. My highlight of the year is to attend BYU education week. I love to blog & keep in touch with friends & family on Facebook. I enjoy going to the movies with friends & my husband for date night. I enjoy scrapbooking. I love to be with my family. I have 2 brothers & 3 sisters. We all live on the same 10 acres except for one of my sisters, but she still lives close by. We get together every Sunday at my Mom & Dad's for dinner. There are 31 grandchildren so it gets pretty crazy, but is so much fun. I love to laugh with them. We have a lot of family traditions that are so much fun throughout the year. We live in the Country (well it used to be more country before they built homes all around us). We have a horse, dogs & lots of chickens. Even though Arizona is a Hot state we love living here & probably always will. I grew up here & have never moved away from the city I was born in.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church. I have always had a strong testimony of it's truth. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet & I am so thankful for all he went through for us to have the gospel on the earth today. I am thankful for our prophet & church leaders. I am thankful for the scriptures & for all the good material we have to learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the missionaries. I am so thankful for Jesus Christ & for the atonement. I know Families can be together Forever.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Young Women's program (girls ages 12-18). I love being with them and teaching them. I love going to girl's camp. I am a Visiting Teacher and have always had a strong testimony that it is important to do. I have been a Relief Society (working with the women) president. That was one of my favorite callings. But, most important is being active & attending church meetings, reading the scriptures, studying & Prayer. That is the way to live the gospel.
