Hi I'm Guy

I'm a Mormon. I have been a Mormon for just over 46 years.

About Me

I am married (43 yrs) Have four children, and nine grandchildren. I spent four years in the Marines and 13 months in Vietnam. As a senior in High School I started competing in Gymnastics, and after my military service I continued with Gymnastics in college at BYU Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

As a five year old I started going to the Nazarene Church with my brother. He was going because he had friends that were going there. His friends moved and he stopped going. I continued until I was fifteen. I then realized that I had never done any thing to become an official member of the Nazarene Church. In a meeting with my Minister I told him that I had never really become member. He then pulled out a book from his desk and wrote something in it, and said he had taken care of that problem for me. I just new this was not right so I started going to different churches in search of the right church. It did take me a while to find the LDS Church, but when I did, I found the missionaries. I knocked on their door and told them I wanted to be baptized.

How I live my faith

Havening been a member of the LDS Church for over fifty years I have served in many ways. I have work with The Boy Scouts, taught youth, and Adult classes. I have also worked in strawberry fields, corn fields, and helped clean church properties. I also have gone to visit families for for our church leaders.
