Hi I'm Larry

I live, work, and play in Nebraska. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent over 25 years marketing local businesses and helping the owners reach their sales goals. For the past 12 years I have helped people find homes. Telling fishing stories is one of my favorite things to do. Of course it's necessary to get out and act out some of them before they can be good stories. I've been fishing and hunting all of my life. And its always been about the experience of being in the outdoors. I have a sweet wife and together we have a whole bunch of grown kids. Sharing the same goals has been important in our marriage.

Why I am a Mormon

I remember studying American History about the Spanish Explorers who came ashore in Mexico back in teh 1500's and were called the "white gods returning" by the Indians. That has stayed in my mind all my adult life. One day I found a book titled "Christ Walked The Americas" and it explained those old legends I had read as a middle school student. When I was introduced to the Book Of Mormon, I could see that it was a history of the American Continent. Reading the book, sharing the stories, learning how a young man with a 3rd grade education was able to translate a coherent and meaningful book in less than three months....well, I knew he had to have Divine Guidance. I have prayed about the truthfulness of the Book Of Mormon, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and felt the Holy Spirit affirm that by being a member I am doing what The Lord, Jesus Christ of Nazereth, wants me to.

How I live my faith

Over the 26 years since I was baptized into this Church I have been a Sunday School Teacher, Missionary, Athletic Director, Sports Official, Executive Secretary, and served in other leadership positions. I have found my service rewarding in that I get to learn and share the Gospel. I know that I'm not perfect. Every day it seems that I find more to learn about this life and what comes next. My wish for you is that you seek The Truth for yourself. When you ask with pure intent, your Heavenly Father will answer you.....sometimes in a "still, small voice"....sometimes with a "burning in your bosom"......sometimes with just the knowledge that what you are praying about is right. I try to be a good example for the people around me. What I enjoy doing is helping others succeed in their efforts. Maybe this will help you.
