Hi I'm Christine

The Proud mother of 5 and Grandmother of 3. I'm a Wife and the daughter of a Police Officer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Mother of five, and Grandmother of three with one on the way. I'm also a wife to a Police Officer. I work with special needs children during the day , and building an Isagenix business with my husband in our spare time. I learned a long time ago to depend on the Lord. Can't imagine getting through my day without prayers and reading the scriptures to bring me joy, comfort and give me inspiration. My family loves sharing the gospel with anyone that needs to know they are loved by a Loving Heavenly Father and that He gave his SON JESUS CHRIST to redeem us all. We also love to help people. I receive great joy in helping my family and my fellow man. As a family we love sports, camping, gardening and being together as a family. I've attended college and plan to continue taking classes to increase my knowledge as a person.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1979 a man came into the restaurant I was working at and asked why is"A Nice Girl" like you was working at a place like this? It stuck me as an ODD question since I was working at a High End restaurant where the patrons came before or after listening to the local Orchestra. We wore very modest long sleeved shirts and long skirts. This man talked to me about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He taught me truths that prove that this is TRULY the Church of JESUS CHRIST and that CHRIST truly did die for me and that HE LIVES TODAY. This man only came to my restaurant 3 times, (exactly 3 weeks apart) and on his last visit he asked if I would be willing to listen to our missionaries. I agreed to meet with them. That decision was the best thing I have ever done. The missionaries brought me the Book of Mormon. As I met with the missionaries, they taught me many truths from the Bible and the Book Of Mormon. As I learned to read the Scriptures, I was moved to tears as I felt the Savior's Love for me and all that HE offers me. When I prayed whether this was the True Church upon the earth and that the Book Of Mormon was true, I received a strong confirmation like I have never felt before. They also taught that after I was baptized, I would be given the gift of the Holy Ghost. If I accepted this gift, it would serve to guide me throughout this life If I kept the commandments of GOD. I felt a warm feeling go from the top of my head all the way down to my toes. I totally felt like a new Woman and Daughter of God and that I was truly forgiven of all my sins that I had committed up until then. I committed then, that I would share the gospel with my fellow man for the rest of my life. And I have.

How I live my faith

Once you experience the Love of the Savior, you can't help but share HIS LOVE with others. I learned how to pray to our Father in Heaven and how to listen to the promptings to guide me throughout my life. My Father in Heaven has never failed me. I have such a Love and Devotion to Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His Atonement has given me so much hope for a better life. I can't imagine going through life without having daily prayer and reading the scriptures. They have been a great source of inspiration and comfort. Now when I have a problem or going though a difficult time, I remember to talk to My Father in Heaven through prayer. Even in the most difficult of times we can feel peace when we put our trust in the Lord.
