Hi I'm Emily

I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I am a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost nine years to my hubby, and we have two cute, fun, little girls. I have two Associate's degrees in Nursing and Communications, a Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology, and Masters Degree in Health Administration. I am currently working as a nurse and mommy, and sometimes both at the same time!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Being raised a Mormon, I was taught the doctrines of the church at a young age. However, I didn''t understand what a truly great blessing this was until I was truly converted in highschool. I think everyone comes to a point in life where they question the purpose of life and who we are in a divine plan. Being raised Mormon, I may have come to that point sooner than others. I was encouraged to find out for myself if what I was being taught in the Mormon church was true. My leaders in the church and my parents encouraged me to pray about it. I did so, and before I could even utter the question in my prayers, the thought came to my head and heart that I already knew. I know this church is true, and since that humble prayer, I have received countless number of experiences and feelings that witness the truth of this church to me. This gospel is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and it is perfect. I have never found fault with any of the doctrines of the church I have been taught. The gospel, more than anything I know, just makes sense. I know Mormons are not perfect people, but we strive to live more perfectly like Christ. In a sometimes scary and uncertain world, the gospel of Jesus Christ is the one thing that ALWAYS bring me peace.

How I live my faith

I have been given the opportunity to serve in several capacities in the church. I have been a leader for the children's organization, taught lessons in the women's organization, developed my crafty side by planning some of the activities for the women's organization. The church has been instrumental in shaping and developing my better habits. I have learned to lead, communicate with others, recognize a need for service, provide comfort, teach my children, organize my daily activities, and overcome hardships. I have built eternal friendships through my activity in the church. I have also been the recipient of service from others in the church. I am so grateful for the organization of the church and the support I feel from those who I am blessed to serve with in the church!
