Hi I'm Sharon

I'm a mother of 5 children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in North Ogden, Utah with 8 brothers and sisters and great parents. We love each other very much and love being a family. I have been married for 23 years and have 5 children, well, 6 including my son-in-law. I love being a mom. My favorite things in life are definitely my family. I love to read, scrapbook (when I have time) and teach my Sunday School class. I'm so grateful for all that I have. I have been blessed to belong to such a wonderful family. They are everything to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormom family, and as an adult have come to realize the value of my membership in the church. I'm a mormon because I have a testimony of its truthfulness. I love the values that are taught in the mormon church, such as being a good person and living a good life. I know that because I have been sealed in a Holy Temple to my family, that I can live with them forever, even after death. This means that I will never be separated from them. The principles and ordinances that I gain through the church will lead me back to my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that through the atonement of my Savior, I can be forgiven. I know that my Savior knows me because he suffered for me and must know me in order to do that. How grateful I am for this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person. It's not always easy. Life has a way of getting you down and tired. I try to rely on the simple principles that the church offers. Be kind, be patient, love one another. I try to keep my life simple and unburdened by the world. I love serving in the church, especially with the youth. They remind me simple times, always happy and carefree. Currently I am a Sunday School teacher of 12 and 13 year olds. I am also a visiting teacher, where I get to visit 4 ladies in my area each month to share a gospel message and get to know them a little better. All of these things help remind me to be a better person, to serve others and to try to do my best.
