Hi I'm Ang.

I'm a wife, daughter, mother, sister, friend, world-traveler, food-lover, reader, blogger... And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom to two wonderful kids who keep me on my toes. I spend my days chasing them around the house and driving them around the city. I have a great husband who I love spending time with. Before this wonderful life, I volunteered in orphanages in Romania, served a mission for my church in Korea and graduated from college with a degree in Advertising.

Why I am a Mormon

As I grew up I was encouraged to find my own testimony and discover if I really believed the Book of Mormon is true and Joseph Smith was a prophet. If those things were true then the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. I knew I would have to read the Book of Mormon and learn about Joseph Smith, so I did. After I did those things I prayed about their truthfulness. I know Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know he restored Christ's true church on the earth and translated the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is true and it brings me happiness and clarity in my life when I read it. Jesus Christ is my Savior and I am so grateful for his sacrifice for me. I know Heavenly Father loves ALL of his children.

How I live my faith

I currently serve with the Young Women (ages 12-17) in my ward. I love them so much and am so amazed to see how they live their faith. We plan activities together, serve others together and worship together. I spent four days with them this summer camping. We spent time together in nature, went hiking, laughed (a lot), ate great food, did service projects (for the local children's hospital), danced and played, and worshipped the God who created this beautiful earth. I try to show in my everyday actions and attitude the happiness I have found as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It brings a smile to my face. Truth brings peace, happiness and a desire to share that with others. I want all of my friends to find that truth as well.
