Hi I'm Marty

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 5 wonderful children, and married to a wonderful wife named Aubrey. I enjoy Basketball, Volleyball, Boating, going to the Dunes and most any outdoor activity. I work in a family business, distributing safety supplies to retail stores throughout the country.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with a wonderful mother who who understood the importance of belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ. My father who is not a member of our faith, but a great man never stopped us from participating in our religion, but it was up to my mother to get us to church every Sunday. Because of her diligence I was taught the truths of the true gospel and the reason we are here on this earth. I learned as a young man that God had a plan for us to return back with him. Being a Mormon gives me a clear path each and every day on how I can be happy and live my life in a way that will please my father in heaven.

How I live my faith

I am currently in charge of the young men's group (boys ages 12-18). We currently have 45 young men, and we have activities every week. Our last activity was a service/game night at a nearby Assisted living home. We did this as a combined activity with the young men and women in our church group (80 people in all). We visited the people in the home and brought them each a couple small gifts, played board games, talked, and cheered them up for about a hour. It is activities like this that we can show our love to others, and help those in need.
