Hi I'm Trisha

I pretty much grew up in Maricopa, AZ. I now have a family 2 girls and my husband we are both in college and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of two girls they are 4 and 1. I am in college for Nursing and probably won't be done for a couple more years. I love to dance but don't do it as much as I would like. I am very creative and wish I have more time to explore it. I enjoy sewing I usually design a lot of what I create.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with a mix religion family and there was no real particular religion pushed. We moved to a new area and my parents wanted my brother to be in scouts and it was held at the church. They also had achievement days at the same time and after being invited several time I finally went since I had nothing else to do. I remember it being fun and feeling safe. There is where I met who later became my life long friend and she was a member and they encouraged me to come to church with them. I later wanted the missionary lessons and then I learned my mothers story. Her family was LDS and she was babtised when she was 8. When she met my dad he was Catholic and they wanted to get married. My dad got the lesson and wanted to convert but his dad swore if he converted he would be disowned so he never did. Eventually my mom became inactive and we never learned about the gospel. My parents agreed to allow me to be babtised and I was when I was a couple months after I turn 11. My mom began coming and so did my younger brother and he eventually became babtised too. We were all active for several years and after I don't know how many missionaries my dad was babtised too. It was soo GREAT!. Unfortunately fast forward til now and I am the only one still active, I know they know the gospel is true. I know that this gospel is true, I love how much I can help us while on our journey here. I know that Jesus died for us I have had the power of atonement work for me and am so grateful for it. I love this gospel more than I can express, and love that I can have the spirit guide me and be with me to comfort me. I know that there is life after this, I know that we have a huge responsibility to do our families work in the Temple. There is just not enough space to tell you all the reasons of why I am Mormon. I know that the peace I feel is huge! I love this gospel and am excited for the day I meet Jesus Christ our Savior and our Heavenly Father face to face!

How I live my faith

I did have a calling organizing events, but since my school schedule doesn't allow me to attend these events I was released. I am sure I will be assigned some where else soon. Other than that I have several sisters that I visit teach. Right now I pretty much just attend the Sunday meetings, and offer my services as they are needed.
