Hi I'm Chuck

I am born and raised an Arizonan. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 10 years and have 4 wonderful children. I love the Arizona desert and all the fun that it brings. I love to ride my ATV in the desert and also in the sand dunes in California. I also love to go wake boarding in the surrounding lakes. I work in the family business that my grandfather started in 1959. I also love to spend time with my children. My oldest son loves to play baseball and flag football so that keeps us busy getting him to his practices and games. The others love to come and watch and play during the practices.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was already members of the church, but I really gained a knowledge and understanding of the church as I grew up. I saw as I went through high school and even into college how following the teachings of the church didn't limit me in my life, but helped me follow a path that kept me out of trouble and encouraged strong friendships with others that shared my same principles and beliefs. I also served as a missionary in Peru for two years. During those two years I learned how to learned how to trust in our heavenly father to help me in times of trials and to trust in his help in helping those that live in Peru. Every time I had any sort of doubt he would come through for me in ways that I never thought possible. I was never a great student but I was able to learn spanish and speak it fluently within 4 months. I now have the everyday trials of having to provide for my wife and kids and having faith that our heavenly father will direct me to make the right choices that will help me give the best life and opportunities for my family. I continue to teach my children the same principles that I learned as a kid that have helped me live my life up to this point. I know that the teaching of the church are true through my own personal prayer, study of the scriptures and through the spirit touching my heart every time I am following his teachings.

How I live my faith

I love attending our weekly Sunday meetings at church and visiting other families in our area. I have helped set up gold tournaments for the men in our Ward, even though I am not the best golfer it has been very fun to get out and enjoy a morning with the other men. One of the teachings of the church is to have a family night every Monday night. My kids are so cute when they remind me when we get busy with life and almost forget to have it. They will remind us and make sure that we play a game and have a lesson and then a little treat. It makes me so happy to see my children excited to have the same activities that I did as a kid with my family.
