Hi I'm Dax

I'm a mormon!

About Me

I played football, basketball, and baseball in high school as well as sang in chorus. I love being active and just getting together a group of guys to go do something whether it's football, basketball, baseball, frisbee, bowling, snowboarding, etc. I just graduated this year and now I'm on my mission. I love the Lord and i want to give him the best service I can, by helping others come unto Christ. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing now.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church for one very important reason. It's the only true church on the earth today and is the only church that has God's priesthood authority, or permission, to perform sacred ordinances such as baptism. I know this because I prayed and asked God for the truth that he could only give, and that nobody else could ever take away. More specifically I asked if The Book of Mormon really is true. I received an answer from God through the Holy Ghost. Which testified to me the truth by the warmest feeling in my heart of peace and joy. After that, I couldn't ever deny that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing two things, loving my God and loving my fellow man. I do my best to read and study the scriptures in order to learn more. I talk to my God through the wonderful blessing of prayer. I also try to serve and help all those who are in need, and even those who are not in need. Part of that service includes serving a mission. I strongly and sincerely believe that I have something so valuable and wonderful in my life and, because of the love I have for others, I wish to share it with them. The Lord's way is a way of love and service.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Dax
My family is important to me and I love them so much! The most important things in life are taught within the home. We share difficult experiences together and learn how to overcome them. Families are meant to be eternal not just for this life but for the life to come. I know that when I die I will see my family again in heaven, and we will be able to live with each other again. Is there any greater comfort and joy than that knowledge in this life? Show more Show less
