Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a former teacher, a stay-at-home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a former junior high math teacher. I am a stay-at-home mom to a fun, energetic little boy and I have an amazing, supportive husband. I love to teach; I love to create; and I love to learn. I love drawing, painting, sewing, and web design. I don't have time for much more than being a mom and wife, but I don't mind because I love my family more than anything else.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and have been a member since I was baptized at the age of 8. I have continued to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know that it is the only way to find the greatest happiness in this life and in the life to come. A Book of Mormon prophet expresses this saying, "It is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." (Helaman 5:12) It is my faith in Jesus Christ that gives me strength when life is hard, gives me greater perspective and teaches me that only by becoming more like my Savior can I find the greatest happiness. I know that as I live and follow His gospel, he will always bless me with his Spirit to comfort me and to guide and direct me so that I may know how to become a better mother, wife, daughter, neighbor and friend.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have been given many opportunities to serve the other members of our congregation. Currently I teach a Sunday School class for the 7-8 year old boys and girls at church. I hope that the children I teach have learned from my lessons, but I know that I have been taught and blessed by their sweet spirits. I am grateful for opportunities to serve in the Church. They continually remind me of the Savior, His life of service and His ultimate sacrifice. In addition to serving in the Church, I live my faith by continually studying the scriptures and praying daily to my Father in Heaven. Studying and praying teaches and remind me of important truths and helps me to always put my trust in the Lord.
