Hi I'm Rose Marie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised and educated in Tucson, with a short stint at BYU. Started my working career as a dance instructor with with Arthur Murray Studio in Tucson. Moved to San Francisco to see 'the world'. Was married and now have 2 adult children and a grandson who are all on the east coast. A diversified resume includes accounting, heavy equipment operator, 18 wheeler, Mary Kay beauty consultant and currently a flight attendant. With dancing as my passion, I founded the Tucson Swing Dance Club so I would have someone to dance with. I won the U.S. Open Swing Dance Championships at Disneyland Hotel in 1984 and 1987 in the 'Jack & Jill Division. The names of male/female competitors are drawn from a hat and you perform with someone you may have never have danced with. Now I would like to become proficient in Argentine Tango.

Why I am a Mormon

I inherited my religious affiliation, however, after my divorce I was not living the teachings I was raised with. After several marriages and unhappiness I decided it was time for me to return to a more righteous way of living and I have become a 'card-carrying' Latter Day Saint. Even as a single woman, I can enjoy the blessings of temple covenants.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good friend to those I know and meet and share my table for meals and games for socializing.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Rose Marie
Our spirits were born in the premortal life and takes on a body of flesh and blood through birth into this life. When this body dies, the spirit continues to live into the eternities. Our choices during this life determines our exaltation in the postmortal life. Show more Show less
