Hi I'm Grant

I'm a Dad, Medical Imaging Engineer, Scuba Diver, and a Taste-Anything-at-Least-Oncer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Mojave Desert catching lizards, scorpions, snakes, black widow spiders, and any other stray animals. After my dad lost his job in California he found work in Washington with Boeing. My family moved states shortly after him starting his new job. Since living in Washington I've taken up many hobbies such as rock climbing, fishing, and scuba diving. I'm an Eagle Scout and served as a Missionary in Spain for two years. The best decision I've ever made was marrying my thoughtful and talented wife. My life is now blessed with the three most imaginative, adventurist, and rowdy boys the world has ever known. Every one of them looks up to me and I find my life willingly being centered on them with Jesus as the example in all our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young I had an experience that has forever directed my life and cemented my faith. It was a personal experience but involved a very sad moment in which I prayed for guidance. I received an answered to that prayer immediately and in such a way that it left no doubt that God hears our prayers and answers them. Later in life my Dad had lost his job for a prolonged period of time. During this time the church came to our assistance and provided us with the help needed to keep a roof over us and food in our kitchen. I was young but can't forget the church and its members standing in support of my Dad and his young family. I have watched my Dad return his thanks with countless hours of service to others in need, both in and out of the church.

How I live my faith

I'M NOT PERFECT! I try my best to live my faith by living the principals taught in the scriptures. My goals are in the following order of importance: Increase my personal relationship with God, increase my relationship with my wife and kids, and increase my relationship with my community. I'm constantly engaged in the service of those around me.
