Hi I'm Liz

I'm a wife, mother, piano teacher, seminary teacher, and accountant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a thirty-something mother of three. I am a part-time accountant and piano teacher. I'm an avid reader and enjoy learning new things. My husband and I have been married for over 16 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have learned the answers to the questions "who am I?", "why am I here?", and "where will I go when I die?" in the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have learned about the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and how accepting His sacrifice in my behalf helps me be happy. As I depend on Him, He shows me who I can become and how to grow into the woman He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures and praying daily. I live my faith by teaching early-morning seminary... scripture study class for our high-school aged youth, every morning before school starts. I live my faith by trying to be the wife and mother Christ would like me to be. I live my faith by acknowledging my mistakes and asking for the Lord's help and forgiveness to improve.

What is the Relief Society?

Liz
Relief Society is the largest women's organization in the world. I love Relief Society for the sisterhood I feel with the other women in my congregation. I love being friends with women of all ages and backgrounds. We come together through our faith in Christ and our desire to help others. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Liz
Being a Mormon, like any other Christian religion, should be a way of life. I hope that the choices I make day to day reflect my faith in Jesus Christ, and my belief in the principles taught in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. These include living the 10 commandments, paying tithing, and trying to be kind to all. Show more Show less
