Hi I'm Tim

I'm a Mormon. I was born in the church but was inactive for 35 years.

About Me

Single, After 2 years military service traveled around the world for 17 years as a vagabond. Returned started business in sport dive industry until economic downturn. Am now employed as a driver for major car dealership.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know the Gospel to be true. Father has touched my heart with a knowledge of the truthfulness of the plan of salvation. I love the tender moments that He affords me. The joy and peace that I feel leaves me wanting to do those things that are pleasing in His sight. I want to have all that He has to offer me for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

I have several callings that afford me great joy. I am a ward rep for the Adult Singles. I am currently the High Priest Group Secretary. I am a volunteer at the Seattle Temple, and love to participate in service projects.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Tim
The Church is a place of worship but also lots of social activities. Dances, plays, sports, dinners and more are all parts of the LDS way of life. Sundays are for worship, the rest of the week the church is used for service and learning. The Temple is for worthy members to make commitments to our Father in Heaven and our Savior, to offer service to those who are dead and strive for Eternal Exaltation. Show more Show less
