Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a daughter and sister. I've lived in the East Coast, West Coast, and Mountain West. I have a college degree and work in finance for work. I enjoy music, running, and spending time with family/friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon by loving parents, but even after I have grown up and lived miles from my family, my faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to the LDS church has grown even stronger. I've been fortunate to receive a good education and know some things, and one thing that I know for certain is that God loves me--and all of His children. And because He loves me, it makes sense that He speaks to me and guides me through the Holy Spirit, and that He speaks to all the world through a living prophet. I know that God does "not leave us comfortless." And even though being Mormon does not exempt me from life's trials, I believe that my faith in the Book of Mormon and Bible, and the Lord's inspired church organization, with a prophet and apostles, lifts me up in times of trial AND happiness, and gives me the hope and courage to become the woman God knows I can become.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday School teacher in the women's organization in my congregation. I love working with other women in the church, and learning together as we study the scriptures and teachings of the apostles and prophet. On a daily basis, I strive to live my faith by following Christ's example, by helping others, and by living a life that would make my earthly parents--and my Heavenly Father--proud.
