Hi I'm Rosalie

I love to read, try new things, and play with my sons. I'm a former teacher who is now a soccer mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I spent my college days in Flagstaff, AZ where I earned my degree in elementary education and met my future husband. After we were married, I began teaching 5th grade. I absolutely loved teaching and the sense of humor of the children. When the Lord eventually blessed us with children, I left the classroom and became a full-time mother. We now are blessed with four wonderful, energetic boys and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born and raised in a Mormon family, I have developed my testimony through my own experiences. When I was fourteen, my cousin challenged me to read two chapters of the Book of Mormon each day. This was a switch point in my life as I delved into the scriptures and developed the daily habit of scripture study. I have read the Book of Mormon many times since then, and know it is true. I know the Bible is true and find an added measure of strength as I read and study its pages. Each time I have read from these sacred books of scripture, the Spirit has testified of their truthfulness and of the Lord's love for me and all of His children. I love reading the scriptures daily with my children and hope that they will be able to develop their own love for God and the scriptures. I know God lives and that He is my Heavenly Father. I know He hears and answers my prayers. I know He loves me so much that He was willing to sacrifice His son, Jesus Christ. I know that because of Jesus Christ, I can repent, be forgiven, change, and return to live with Heavenly Father again. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He loves me. I know the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God and I can get direction for my life by reading them. I am grateful that I was taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that I gained my own testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I love being actively involved in the church. Recently I had the privilege of teaching from the New Testament in the 14 and 15 yr old Sunday school class. I was amazed at the strength these youth had in facing temptation and sharing their standards with others. I learned so much from them! I just moved and hope to be able to serve my community and my new ward family. The most important responsibility and calling I have is to be a wife and mother. It is a challenge to create a loving home environment these days, and I am grateful to be a vital part in our home. I want my four sons to be honest, hard-working, and God-fearing men. I hope through the way my husband and I live and teach them that they will grow close to Jesus Christ and become good missionaries, husbands, fathers, employees, and bless the world around them.
