Hi I'm Frank

I grew up in California and I've lived in several states since and I've never had to find a "new church". I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been working in IT since the early 1980's and continue to love it. However, my first love is my family. My wife and I have 5 wonderful kids and 10 beautiful grandchildren scattered from Tennessee to Nevada. After almost 30 years I went back to school and got my degree. Funny thing was that colleges didn't offer degrees in my major anymore, so it was a challenge. We have moved from California to Georgia to Tennessee to Colorado to Texas and I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything. I love motorcycles, muscle cars and woodworking.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Catholic Church and I still have a special place in my heart for it. But after falling away away when was a teenager I knew that it wasn't the true church for me. I met my future wife in high school and we married shortly thereafter. At that time she was an inactive Mormon so religion was not a part of our household. After she became active in her faith I told my friends that I was afraid that she was getting a case of the "religies" and wouldn't want to go water skiing on Sundays anymore. Later, after experiencing a serious medical problem I realized that she was on the right track and I was on the wrong one. So I changed tracks and have never regretted it. I know that this is the one true church on the earth and I am proud to be known as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I believe that some kind of community service is something that everyone needs to be involved in. Through the church my sons have all become Eagle Scouts and I have been able to participate in the process. My family and I have also been involved with Habitat for Humanity. Throughout my time in the church I've had the opportunity to help others in various capacities and now I have the chance to help others with family history.
