Hi I'm Haley

I'm a perfectionist... It took me four hours to write this sentence!

About Me

I'm a sister and a daughter in a family of seven. I'm a freshman in high school. I'm an artist. I love to paint, work out, sew, sing around the house; and, I believe a plate of cookies will make anyone happy! I build boats with my dad in our garage, and my dream is to build my own wooden kayak sometime in the future. I would love to be an interior designer when I grow up!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole entire life. However, for the first part of my life, up to a few years ago, I sort of based my testimony of our church on my parents' testimony. I remember, when I was about ten years old, I began to doubt that our church was true- I needed my own knowledge and understanding about the gospel. So, I opened my scriptures to a random verse. I don't remember what verse of scripture it was, but it said something like this: "cursed is he that doubts" and "after all that you've experienced, how can you doubt?" Let's just say that I gained a firm testimony- and I'll always have a firm testimony- following that experience :):):):):)

How I live my faith

We, as members, don't just go to church on Sunday and forget about it the rest of the week. It is a daily commitment. I follow Jesus Christ's teachings to the best of my abilities. I do my very best to serve friends and family around me. I love to study my scriptures everyday and I know that if I say my prayers, every time I do I will receive an answer. In summary, I do all that I can to be a worthy member of this church.
