Hi I'm Brian Langford

I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a hard worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah but raise in Mesa, Arizona. I graduated from Mesa High School in 2000 and served a mission to Chile, Antofagasta from 2001-2003. When I returned home I attended Mesa Community College and earned an Associates of Liberal Arts then transfered to Arizona State University where I earned a Bachelor's in History with two minors in Religion and Anthropology. I student taught seminary at Mesquite High School for a year then began working as an Enrollment Adviser for the University of Phoenix. I'm married to an extraordinary woman with two children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family with pioneer heritage. Regardless, I still had to discover for myself what was the truth. My conversion to the Church came step by step as I began to identify truths in relation to the gospel of Jesus Christ and how I chose to live my life. I am still discovering those truths and learning more and more about myself and what God expects of me. I have come to know through prayer and personal revelation from God that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and that Jesus Christ and God the Father are working through this church to prepare the world for the time when each person will stand before God to be judged. I know that God loves all his children and that he is not dead nor sleeps but is actively engaged in each of our lives with a desire for us to live righteously. I know He lives!

How I live my faith

I love memorizing scriptures and have created a list of scriptures that I want to have memorize. I have been working on the list for the last 8 years and I plan on continuing to memorize scriptures and build the list for as long as I can. In my local ward I have been called as a Cub Master for the Cub Scouts. My wife is the Committee Chair for the Cub Scouts and we work together to organize and execute monthly Pack Meetings and other activities.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Brian Langford
Stopping the spread of pornography starts with me and my decision to draw the line with what kind of images and talk I allow into my life. With pornographic talk and images all over today's entertainment, it only takes a little curiosity to begin indulging heavily in pornography. Take time to recognize what you are doing and how destructive pornographic behavior is to people who produce the material and the people who entertain them. Pornographic is destructive to an individual and will change how you view and treat others. Show more Show less
