Hi I'm Dax

I love working with my hands and learning new things. I have 5 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father married to a beautiful wife. I love to play sports. I come from a grandfather and father who were both basketball coaches, but I don't have a desire to coach myself. I love working with my hands, especially with wood. I enjoy learning new things and helping to solve problems. I have come to enjoy plumbing. I am working for myself now which gives me the ability to do many different things. I want to own my own home and be completely debt free. They say that the grass feels a little better under your feet when you have no debt.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah and was born into a Mormon family. I lived most of my life in Utah. One year I had the opportunity to go to school with my cousin in Arizona. While I was there going to high school I was able to truly find out for myself if what I had been taught my whole life was true. So I decided to figure out for myself if the Book of Mormon really was the word of God. As I read and truly prayed to my Heavenly Father it was confirmed to me by the power of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon was the word of God and that it was translated by the power of God through his Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that God wants what's best for his children and that he is there for us and guides us so that we can return back to live with him again. I know that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father if I believe in Christ and use his atonement in my life. As a Mormon I am able to continue to learn more and more each day about my Savior and how I can be a better Husband and Father and thus make a difference where I live.

How I live my faith

Each week I am able to work with 11 year old boys and learn with them the different aspects of Boy Scouts. We are able to do many different activities from camping to knot tying. I try to help each year with sports by volunteering as a coach on my kids sports teams.
