Hi I'm Dana

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a grandmother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and have 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls). I have 4 grandchildren (2 boys and 2 girls) with another little girl that is to arrive in February. I work full time in a medical office. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, quilting, scraping booking, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was around 7 years old we had two missioniaries knock on our door. My Mom was as a member of the Church but had not been active for many years invited them in. My dad was not a member and the missionaries talked to him about the word of wisdom. My dad smoked and after that lesson gave the missionaries his cigarettes. It was shortly after that my dad joined the Church. I was baptized a year later when I turned 8 years old. I can honestly say it was the best thing that every happened to me and my family. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true Church on the earth today. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he will return to the earth again. I know the Book of Mormon is true and another Testiment of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a living Prophet on the earth today and that is Thomas S. Monson. I know that I am who I am today because of the Church and the standards that help me each and every day of my life.

How I live my faith

I am the visiting teaching coordinator for our ward. This is a great opportunity to work with the women in our ward and organize them into companionships and have them visit other women in the ward. I also have the opportunity to visit teach 9 women each month in our ward. I attend Church every Sunday and try to live my life by following the example my elder brother Jesus has set for me. I try to be honest in everything I do.
