Hi I'm Melyssa Collins

I am a musician, athlete, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am the third of seven children and i have awesome parents. I grew up in the church, and I look forward to attending church each Sunday and I love the gospel. I love music and I l enjoy listening, playing, and singing along to music. I like to watching movies and hanging out with my friends. I am a swimmer and a diver and love being outdoors. I love to any type of sport, but my favorite is volleyball. I also enjoy watching football. I try to be a good leader and set good examples for others. I am interested in photography and like to take pictures as well as do photo editing, too. I am happiest when I know I am serving others and making someone else's day brighter and putting a smile on someones face.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life and I love it! I have made so many friends through the church and the members are so kind and loving. The church has helped me through all of my trials, big or small, and I can not imagine my life without the gospel in it. I know the Lord will help us through life and I know he wants all of us to be happy. I have gained a strong testimony of the church and of the Book of Mormon by going to church and learning from my parents/seminary teachers/and from the examples of others. I have a strong relationship with my Heavenly father and am happiest when I am serving others. I am 100% proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the young womens program. I am in my class presidency and I try to help my leaders with all that they do. I try to make sure all the youth feel welcome when they are there and that they enjoy comming to church and activities. I try do serve those in my ward and I am friendly and welcoming to those who attend, member or not. I try to be an example to the younger youth in my ward and help them to hold high standards that will lead them to also becomming good leaders and gain stronger testimonies. I help my mom organize youth activities and I am a member of my wards choir. I love helping others to feel the spirit and helping letting them know that they loved and cared for.
