Hi I'm Jimmy Brown

I'm and educator of 33 years. I'm also a husband, a father of 7, a grandfather of 15, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have worked as an educator for 33 years. I am a husband and the father of one son, and six daughters, who have blessed my life with 15 beautiful grandchildren. I believe it is important to be a good citizen of our communities, and to be actively involved in committees, boards, city councils, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the direction that this church gives to me. It provides me with an understanding of what life is all about and gives me a sense of direction with meaning and purpose as I go throughout each day. I'm a Mormon because of what my Savior Jesus Christ has done for me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by volunteering my time to be a service to others. I am currently the finance clerk for my church unit, and I occasionally teach gospel lessons. I believe in building strong family ties by being involved with parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, my wife, my children, and my grandchildren. It is important to have frequent family activities. It is my obligation to set a good example of Christian living. I try to be compassionate toward all of my fellowmen and give of myself. I try to be like my Savior, Jesus Christ.
