Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I love theatre and was in a Children's Theatre Company for a couple of years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life and my favorite part of life is my family which includes, my husband, five children, their spouses and my adorable grandkids. I also love the theatre, going to plays as well as being a part of them. I love creative writing as well as writing poetry. I also love to sing and am in a singing group that performs all during the year. I love working with youth people and serving people in my community. My favorite thing to do is to go up to the mountains and just enjoy the beauty that God has created.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel has always made sense to me and made me happy. I was born into a family who has a long and wonderful heritage as part of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who traveled across the Mormon trail to settle the West. The more I study the Bible, and the Book of Mormon with prayer, the more I realize the blessings that our Father in Heaven has given all of us. Being a member of the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints is not always easy. We are required to give many hours of service but then if you read the Bible, you can easily see that it was not always easy to be obedient and faithful for the old Prophets who suffered so much persecution, but it is so very worth it. I love the fact that every member of this church is given the opportunity to serve and grow. The callings vary in the church and they are all done with no pay, yet we are rewarded with so many, many blessings from our service. One of the greatest blessings is that we have Temples of God here on the earth to seal husbands and wives as well as our children for not only time, but for ALL ETERNITY. I believe in a loving, kind Father in Heaven and His blessed Son, who is my Savior and the Holy Ghost. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to serve in many ways in this church. I was the president over 40 young women ranging in age from 12-18 for over 3 years, and was then called organize girls camp for over 100 girls for a couple of years. I have been blessed to serve as the President in our over our amazing women's organization called the Relief Society; much service was organized and carried out in that calling. I was called to serve as the Entertainment Chairman for all the entertainment that was done at the Mesa Arizona Temple during the Christmas season, which I loved! All the service has been a joy to me!
