Hi I'm Nathan

I'm a husband, a father, a student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the father of 2 children, and I am a graduate student in physical therapy. I chose physical therapy because I felt like I could make a difference in people's lives. I love helping people as a Physical Therapist, but what I really enjoy is being at home with my family. There is never a dull moment in our house with an 11 month old and a 3 year old, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I enjoy spending time playing basketball and following college sports. As a family we decided to train for a 5k and maybe a longer race if we survive that.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it is in an understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ that I have come to find true lasting happiness and peace with who I am. I know who I am as a Son of God, and it doesn't matter how great my shortcomings are, or how often I mess up, He will always love me. What God cares about is that I have the courage to keep trying and follow Him in faith. I believe that one day God will be able to mold me into a perfect creature. That day is has not come, but I have faith and hope that it will come. I know that it will, because Christ paid the price for me and I know it is God's ultimate goal for me. Sometimes we face challenges in life and it feels as if we are alone, but we never really are. God has helped me through those times of loneliness and doubt, and I know that as long as I allow Him He will always help me through those times. That is an understanding has been depend through the teachings of Book of Mormon and Living prophets.

How I live my faith

I am able to live my faith by my example at work, with my friends, and with my family. Honesty is an important principle in my faith and in my daily life. I try to be honest with others around me, in my school work, with myself, and most importantly with my Savior Jesus Christ. I know I am not perfect, but it is important to me. I try everyday to show my faith in Christ by being obedient to the things that he has asked us to do. I know that this is the only way to be truly happy.
