Hi I'm Steven

I'm a businessman. I enjoy an active life. I'm the proud father of four. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Professionally, I'm a businessman. Personally, I'm husband and father. I'm an avid fly fisherman and a has-been semi-pro skateboarder. I also love working out, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and triathlons. Other interests span a broad spectrum, from tabletop role-playing games to restoring old cars, houses, and furniture. While attending college, I married my high school sweetheart. We share many interests, including a passion for entrepreneurialism and investment. Among our various pursuits, we're doing our best to raise four very rambunctious children, two of which are twins.

Why I am a Mormon

My membership and participation in the Mormon Church brings me closer to the Savior and facilitates my relationship with Him. It brings me closer to understanding our Heavenly Father's plan for me and my family and I become more like Christ when I live its teachings.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the young mens program in our local congregation. In addition to teaching lessons on Sundays, I help plan events that will hopefully motivate youth to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. My other responsibilities include serving as Scoutmaster. About half of our Troop and Committee members consist of Scouts and parents of Scouts that are not members of our Church. It's rewarding to work with the young men and their parents; I'm always amazed at what the youth can accomplish when given proper instruction and the opportunity.
