Hi I'm Alexander

I love music and basketball. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four siblings, two brothers and two sisters. I am the oldest in the family and I enjoy being a big brother and I try to set a good example for my younger siblings to follow. I have lived in Utah, Georgia, Illinois, Oregon, Arizona, and now I live in New Hampshire. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I love playing the piano and trumpet, singing, and writing music. I like playing just about every sport invented, especially basketball. I have been called as missionary to serve in Los Angeles, California speaking Spanish. I am so excited for this opportunity to serve! My favorite scripture is Mosiah 2:41, which talks about how HAPPY I can be if I keep the commandments! It mentions being blessed by the Lord in all things, which is something that I am striving to live worthy of.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was taught about Christ and his gospel from the time I was born. I have my wonderful parents to thank for seeing to my spiritual education and well-being throughout my childhood. But, as great as they are, the testimonies of my parents are not enough to keep my testimony strong. I need to have my own testimony of Jesus Christ, and I do! Through scripture study and prayer, I know Jesus Christ lives and has suffered and died for me. He knows and loves me. I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has the authority and ordinances necessary for me to live with Him again.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. More importantly, I strive to feel the Holy Spirit each day through daily scripture study and prayer. The times I spend with my scriptures are precious. In my congregation, I am called to be the pianist for the children's organization, the Primary. I love to play the piano and hear their voices sing things like "I will go, I will do, the things the Lord commands!" I am trying to prepare for my mission in Los Angeles by spending time with the local missionaries that serve where I live, spending extra time reading the scriptures (especially The Book of Mormon), and focusing my attention away from any technology and media that would distract me from sharing the gospel. These efforts have greatly strengthened my testimony in all areas.
