Hi I'm Audrey

"I'm a mother, a widow, and I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I grew up in New York City. I am Italian and was raised Catholic. I have 5 children that I adore. Me and my husband tried to teach our children good values and the importance of family. I was a homeschool Mom and an Interior Designer. My husband was fortunate to retire early. We'd had our share of snow storms, so we threw in the towel and moved to Florida. Our dream was that after our children were all grown up we planned on retiring to the beach. My husband always said, "Life is Good". Three days after our youngest child's 19th birthday everything changed...

Why I am a Mormon

My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Six months later he passed away. This devastated me. How could I possibly continue on without my best friend. My life was over. I gave up on God. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, Our Lord did not give up on me. Missionaries were led to my home by the Spirit and right then and there I knew that not only did God exist but that He loved me. I was converted. I have learned so much more in the last year since becoming a Mormon. It has taught me to respect life, not to take the little things for granted, and that life really is good!

How I live my faith

Everyday I find myself thinking back on my life and realizing that I knew something was missing, and now I know it was the love of Our Savior. I enjoy reading my scriptures and helping other's. I find that everyday that goes by is a blessing. I am learning more each day and have gotten more of an understanding of who I am, why I'm here, and where I'm going. I know one day I will see my husband again, but until that time I will do the best I can to live my life the way Our Lord wants me to.
