Hi I'm Rylee

I'm a sister, student nurse, future missionary, and Captain America fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern California as the oldest of 4 children. My family has been the biggest influence on who I am today. Currently I attend a university and I am studying Nursing. I thoroughly enjoy being outside, specifically hiking, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and ultimate frisbee. My favorite Marvel superhero is Captain America by far. One of my favorite memories from my high school years was when I got to go on a service expedition to Ecuador and build a house for volunteers who work at an orphanage. It was here that I decided I wanted to include more service in my career and subsequently decided to become a nurse. Soon I will be leaving on a 1.5 year mission in Colorado and I could not be more excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I couldn't imagine not being one. I don't know where I'd be without the values and direction that this religion gives me.

How I live my faith

I attend a church university where I am given lots of opportunities to learn about my religion and develop my faith. The biggest way you would know I was a Mormon is the way I dress. I choose not to wear revealing, or too short of clothing incuding short shorts, tanktops, and bikinis which are common for people my age. I am also preparing to serve a full time mission where I will leave my family and not see them for 1.5 years while I focus on serving and teaching the people of Colorado.
