Hi I'm Claudia

I am from Monterrey Mexico. I am the 11 of 13 kids. I am a mom of 4 myself. My husband is from Hawaii and we are Mormons :D

About Me

My name is Claudia. I am a wife and a proud mom of 4 kids. I speak two languages. English and Spanish. Someday I would like to speak French and I would love to go back to collage. I finish my degree in Law-school but after meeting my best friend and love of my live we got married in SLC Temple and we decided to start a family right away. We decided the best would be for me to stay at home. I thought it was going to be easy (I mean after all what could be harder than being a lawyer and learn anther language right?) wrong! Being a Mom it is the hardest thing I have ever done BUT also the most satisfying. One of the hardest things is that people in general do not give us credit as a Moms and some of them even dare to thing that WE DO NOT WORK! It is insulting sometimes. Kisses and hugs from my most demanding bosses :D

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raise in the church. However I did not get my own testimony until I was 22 yrs old. I was in a very sad situation since I felt so lonely. One day I decided that I was tired and that I just didn't want to suffer anymore. I did humble myself to our Heavenly Father and prayed. I cried in desperation and I can honestly say that he listened to me. He send me what I needed. After praying about how I felt I committed to him to follow him and do always his will and I told him I will trust my happiness to him. I decided that I wanted to be happy and what was giving me happiness was him. Eventually I met my AWESOME husband. I am a Mormon and I am proud to be one. I know Heavenly Father loves us and wants to see us happy. He also wants us to look for his help when we need him. As the great Father that he is HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US WHEN WE NEED HIM, WE JUST NEED TO BE HUMBLE ENOUGH TO ASK FOR HIS HELP AND HE WILL GIVE IT TO US. Yeah it is hard to follow him some times. Specially if we live in a community were our believes aren't share for most people. However I know that if we stick with what we believe if we do ALL that he ask us to do I KNOW HE WILL POUR ALL THE BLESSING THAT ARE WAITING FOR US IN HEAVEN. Just like we do to our kids. When they are good and obedient of things that we ask them to do there is no way we don't try our best to make them happy and please them, but if they go and do things that they know is not right we might suffer with them but we don't price them for the mistake they made. However if they need our help as parents we try to help them. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saint is true. I know my Savior loves me and wants my happiness. I believe in President Monson as our actual Prophet. I am thankful for having the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I have had different calling through my life in the church. One of my favorites was being around the little kids in nursery. However I am enjoying being part of Activity day for the 8 to 9 yrs old. It has been a challenge and I am learning so much from the little girls. I also feel a lot of responsibility because as one of their leader I feel I need to help them to be prepared and keep going in the right path since most of them just got baptize. I am so proud of them:D
