Hi I'm Karrica

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I am a high school senior. I am a bassoonist. I am a painter. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very artistic person. I love to paint, draw, and take pictures. Currently, I am a high school senior who is trying to graduate with my Associate's Degree. Life is crazy, but good!

Why I am a Mormon

I can't say that the missionaries taught me, or this emotionally big conversion story, because that's not true. I've grown up a Mormon, my parents taught me ever since I was little. I believe in this church, His church because it's true. I haven't had big conversion stories, I have had many little day-to-day stories that build my testimony of this church. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a true church. I know that there is life after death. I know that Christ is my elder brother, and that he knows exactly what I'm going through. I know Joseph Smith restored this church and that he translated the Book of Mormon, which is also very true. I've read it cover-to-cover. Though trials come into life often, I know that it's for my learning and growing experience. This church is true. I could never deny it.

How I live my faith

I just got called to be Laurel's Class President over 15 girls (a group of girl's ages 16-18) in the Young Women's Program. It's kind of hard to be president over girl's you have known for nine years of your life, they know exactly who you are. But I love being an example, and trying to help others. I'm so excited for this calling, I want to help make a difference in their lives. That's a goal I have, to help change someone's life. I truly love this gospel, it gives me so much hope, I guess that's why I live its principles.
