Hi I'm Arlan

I grew up in northern British Columbia, Canada. I snowboard, snowmobile and drive tractors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Yep! I grew up on a large farm in a small town, loved every minute of it. Baling hay, running combine, loading trucks. I also love to hunt. In high school I played football and rugby. Football I played defensive end and rugby I played flank. During the winter loved to snowmobile(sledding) and snowboarding. Right now I left all that behind and am serving as a full time missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church for many reason's. I was raised in a family where i was taught the gospel. I gained my own testimony by exercising faith, and asking in prayer questions that I had. For example if our Father in Heaven is really there, and if he loved me. I have had my prayers answered. I have applied the gospel in my life and have seen many blessings because of it. I know that because of our Savior Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven of our sins, healed, comforted, and that only through Him can we return to live with our Heavenly Father again. Our Father in Heaven wants us to be happy in this life, and the life to come. The church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints has helped me to know what I must do, and how i can get to where I need to be.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving others, growing up we did a lot of service projects. I like to read the scriptures and ponder and pray about them, this makes me feel closer to my Savior. Right now I'm serving as a full time missionary for two years. Sharing the gospel with others because I know that it truly is the church of Jesus Christ. I'm here to share that with others. I know it can bless their lives, not only in this life but also the life to come.
