Hi I'm Christina

I love laughing. I'm a missionary and a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

About Me

I was born in Manchester, New Hampshire. My Parents came to the United States after communism from Romania. They came to the promised land so that we can have a better future of possibilities. I have 5 older siblings and we were all born; boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, and girl(me) Like the Brady Bunch :) I love my family so much! I've only been back to my parents homeland to visit family once in 2001. I was very young and didn't really remember all that was going on. But now, I was called to serve as a full time missionary in the Romania/Moldova Mission!:) I was introduced to the church through my older brothers strong testimony and gained one of my own. I was Baptized on my birthday. I love Latin dancing and being outdoors. Down for Volleyball any day! :)

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon brought me closer to Christ. Before, I knew who he was and all. I heard stories about him and knew what he did but I didn't feel it personally or I didn't know how to apply it to my life. I did my own thing and lived a worldly life. I can say it was a complete 180 turn for the better and never has Jesus Christs sacrifice been made so personal to me. It started while going through some ups and downs and I wanted to find comfort and go to god for help. I decided to try to get back in my old church for awhile. At the same time I met and looked up to the examples of some lds members and and how they acted. I thought, "Why are Mormons such a threat? Why does my brother raf have to go away for two years?" Sure enough, I eventually became curious to find out for myself if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints was true. I put aside the negative connotations I would hear about our church. While seeking, that good feelings came unexpectedly and the appreciation of Christ's atonement grew enormously. I simply understood Christ better. I followed Moroni's promise and asked. Words can't describe the strong feeling that came over me. I'm a Mormon because I get those tugging feelings from the spirit to choose the right and not be in neutral grounds. I'm a Mormon because I never want to let go of that personal and loving relationship I feel with heavenly father and my older brother Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve others and putting heavenly father first. I realize when I do i'm a lot happier. I've definitely noticed the influence the holy spirit in my life. Especially in school and learning, it has become more interesting. There is a spark when I learn about science and tie it together of heavenly fathers creations. Its like a feeling of astonishment! I have an appetite for life when I have the Holy spirit and it motivates me to do better and pushes me through school. I can promise that never before have I felt the influence of the holy ghost as strongly. Before, If I tried to do something bad and only remember god on Sundays, I didn't get tugging feelings like I do now. I know the holy ghost keeps me on the right track. It's a contrast feeling of not having the holy ghost in your life growing up.
