Hi I'm Kalen

Im a lover of Hunting, Fishing, anything with a motor and Sports, being with family and friends, Country Music, and Im a Mormon.

About Me

Pretty much when I am outside, I feel pretty dang good! I love to Hunt, Fish, Ride Fourwheelers, Boat, SnowBoard, Ski, Camp, and pretty much everything else in between! The only thing that has to happen though is that I have to be with the people that I love to do it. Family and friends are always close to me in my life and I always make sure that they come first! I like to stay fit, go to the gym and run in the mornings. I play Basketball and Football, played a Little bit of Baseball and I like to watch all of that on TV! My favorite holidays are for sure Christmas and Thanksgiving because thats when the family comes together and there is always a good time. I like to try new things and learn how to do new things. I also love cars and especially Trucks. Its always been my dream to have a big Diesel Dodge Cummins and I love the sound of those old classics like the Camaros, Corvettes and Chargers. I would like to have a business fixing up old classic cars one day. I stay strong to my beliefs and the way that I was raised. From my father, my grandfather, uncles and family I have learned the value of working hard for everything that you have, and from a loving mother and father I have learned the importance of staying true to my beliefs!

Why I am a Mormon

I was originally born into this religion because almost all of my family is a member of this church. I grew up going to church every sunday and learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ through church attendance and from my parents. I always have had a deep testimony of this church that originally came from my parents but as i grew older i have had several experiences that have given me a strong testimony that this work is ordained of God. This gospel is centered on the family, more than any other church in the world. Just that is evidence to me that it is ordained by a loving Heavenly Father that wants us to live and be happy with our families forever. Another great reason that i am Mormon is because of the Book of Mormon. The more that I read this wonderful book, the more the spirit testifies to my heart that this church is true. I am a Mormon because of the hope and joyful message that this gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I wouldnt be anything without my belief in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is everything to me and I try to live my faith by trying to be more like Him everyday of my life. I know that he lived and died for me and the way to show him that i am thankful for that is to live as he did and show others the truthfullness of what I believe so that they too can have the blessings that I have. I try to share my beleif with everyone that I see so that they can have the same blessings that I have had all of my life and the same happiness that I have received from this Gospel. Reading the scriptures, going to church, and prayer are what strengthen me and help me to keep going and moving on everyday. I know that my Savior lives and that I am a member of His only true Church on the earth!

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Kalen
We beleive that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of all mankind. We believe that Jesus Christ was chosen before this world to be our Savior and that we accepted him as our Savior before we were born. Jesus Christ, before he came to earth, was a spirit just like all of us. Jesus Christ is Jehova. Jehova is Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. When he was born he received a mortal body and was the only one of Gods children that was worthy and good enough to die for our sins, to be the way that we can be saved and have eternal life like him. If we beleive in Jesus Christ, ask for forgiveness, then our baptized by his authority by immersion, receive the Holy Ghost, and committ to follow him the rest of our lives we can be saved in the kingdom of His Father. Jesus Christ is the only name by which mankind may be saved. Show more Show less
