Hi I'm Andrea

I am a native Rhode Islander and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single mom of 2 beautiful girls--- I will be entering nursing school in the next year--- I love to bake and cook--- Museums are amazing places to visit--- Crochet is one of my favorite winter activities--- I love to watch boxing (when the scoring is fair)--- I've returned to the church after being inactive for quite a while. Best decision I've made!

Why I am a Mormon

When my parents divorced, my father wanted me to have a concept of faith and of God. He called the number for the Lamb of God video and we visited with the Sister Missionaries. As a young girl, church helped answer many of my basic questions. I was baptized with my mom in 1998. As a teen, I drifted, and lived my life the way I thought would make me happy. I got married at 19 for love but it wasn't meant to work out. Throughout all the trials in my life--at every different time--there was ALWAYS a coincidental connection to the church. Many times I could have returned to the church or sought the guidance of the bishopric but i chose to ignore it. At the toughest point in my life-the Sister Missionaries were there to bolster my emotional strength and encourage me. Such AMAZING Saints were brought into my life. After mulling over my decision for a year or two, I gathered the strength to return and I have NEVER looked back. Throughout my time away from the church I still maintained the same moral compass and beliefs. I kept looking for a community like the Mormons but couldn't find one. There's only ONE true church. This is it. I know it in my heart. When I live righteously and faithfully, everything else falls into place. I am most happy within the guidelines of the church. The amazing community of this church has uplifted me and supported me when I needed it. I hope to be able to pass on that support help others in need.

How I live my faith

I do the best that I am able to keep the commandments and do the right things. I have a "Choose The Right" ring which never leaves me hands. It helps me be mindful of my decisions. I am involved with organizing some activities and I work in the Primary with the children as an aid where help is needed.
