Hi I'm Keith

I am half korean, a musician, telling jokes and laughing is a hobby, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love listening and playing music on my piano, guitar, and trumpet. I am currently Serving a Mission for the Lord in Arcadia, California. I believe that music can heal the human soul and bring us closer to Christ. Prior to the Mission, I studied at BYU-Idaho. Smiling is probably the one thing I'm always doing.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church, I knew I had to find out for myself if what I had been taught is true. I would always hear people in church exclaim that they had had a huge spiritual experience in which they had received a sign from God. I had never had such a experience before, so when I was 19 I decided to engage myself in reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it to find out if it is true. The next day my prayer was answered through a scripture I read and a feeling that came into my heart. I can not deny that the Book of Mormon is true. Being a Mormon is AWESOME! The Gospel of Jesus Christ fills my life with happiness, joy, peace, tranquility, purpose, and conviction! I know who God wants me to become and wants me to do.

How I live my faith

I love being an example to others. I refrain from using foul language and do not participate in activities that are harmful for my body and spirit. Every month, my friends and I provide service projects for other members of the church who are not capable of such work by themselves. Though I'm not perfect, I always strive to live as Jesus Christ lived--full of Love towards all men and women. I read my scriptures everyday and talk to my Heavenly Father daily as well. I always try to be the peacemaker in my group of friends and try hard not to judge others.

What is being a Mormon like?

Keith
Society may believe that "having fun" can only be accomplished through drinking, drug use, and living as if today were the last day. However that is very wrong. True happiness lies within our own families, friends, and habits. Having a strong family in the gospel blesess those individuals with love and care. People who are not of our faith can even see that we live happier and are friendly to everyone. Living the standards of the church blesses us with a strong family, loving friends, and true happiness.
