Hi I'm Paul

I’m an accountant. I can unicycle, scuba dive, mountain bike, and camp. I’m a diehard Oregon Ducks fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a beautiful wife and my two amazing sons. I love to work with numbers and enjoy helping people make their own financial success stories. The most important thing in my life is my family. I spend most of my time with my family. I love scuba diving; observing the beautiful life that is found at the bottom of the ocean is truly amazing. I also enjoy reading, brain teasers, and other puzzles. I am a diehard Oregon Ducks fan and enjoy watching football. My favorite movies are action and science fiction. When I am not with my family, at work, at church, or in the community…I am sleeping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it is through the Church that I have come to a fuller and more complete knowledge and understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The truths that I have learned will help me through this life. I know that God loves us so much that he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die for us and to show us the way back to him. He has provided prophets to teach us and guide us. We are not alone and it is through prophets of God and personal revelation that we can continue to learn his eternal truths. God has provided the Book of Mormon as a second witness of the Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I have come to learn many more truths about God and how to live a more Christ-like life. I have found that when I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible as well as pray to my Heavenly Father, I feel closer to Him. When I remain faithful to God my daily tasks seem more bearable and purposeful. I know that God the Eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ love me and know me. They want me to find success. I love them, too.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to be a young men youth leader. I can spend time with our young men and teach them the important things that can help them to grow and develop into the future leaders of the church and community. I am also a Boy Scout leader. I get to teach the youth many valuable skills that might just help them at some later time in life. I sacrifice my time to help others; this provides me with much joy. When I am helping other members of the church or random people on the street, I am showing my love to my Heavenly Father. Every month I have the privilege of visiting members and families in the church, in their homes; I help and support them in their various needs when they ask or where I can. I love being with these families and look forward to spending time with them. I look forward to church on Sundays because I get to learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people I know and care about.
