Hi I'm Zane Bellows

I live in northern Utah with my wife, lived in Bulgaria and she in Japan. I love Legos, I ski and snowboard, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah, my parents met when I was 6 years old, and I have one younger brother. I love winter sports, but I also love to swim and actually swam for my High School. I love going to plays, hiking, just sitting at home, and doing lots of reading. When I was 11, my friend invited me to go to his church and from there I decided to join. My parents are not involved in the church, but I have helped my brother make the decision to be baptized as well. A couple of years ago I went and lived in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria to be exact. I now speak Bulgarian, and know a few things in Turkish, Roma, German, and Japanese. Currently I'm living in Logan, UT where I study Biomedical Engineering at Utah State University.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 11, my friend who was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invited me to come and see what he did on Sundays. I started going, participating in the programs, and eventually I met with the Missionaries that were in my area, and shortly thereafter, I was baptized. Being part of the church and around others with the same feelings and morals, everything is so much lighter, I don't have to worry about all the other things that are going on. Not to mention all the support I've gotten from others around me. I love reading the Book of Mormon because though you can get deep into what they're saying, the simple overlaying story is clear and easy to see how it can help me now.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week, read my scriptures, and pray often to keep up to date with my Father in Heaven. I especially love the times when we've got together with another couple from our ward and held a Family Home Evening where we share a lesson about Christ, and usually eat a snack and play some kind of game.
