Hi I'm Elvon

Being outdoors doing active things on this great Earth is my favorite. I love life and everything that comes with it.

About Me

I am a strong believer in being happy and being yourself. I like to play soccer, ski, go camping, paddle-boarding, or just play games with my friends and family. I feel like those that are happiest are those that make the most out of life by appreciating the wonderful world that God gave us and spend a lot of time with those that they love like family. My family is the best in the entire world - no question. I like to laugh, and I even sometimes laugh at my own jokes. I just love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of this church because I believe that God lives, He loves us, and He will lead and guide us through this life so that we can return to live with Him again. I believe that through prayer I can come to know my Father in Heaven. I also know that every single person has and will make mistakes. I also know that most everyone is looking for a way to be forgiven and have that guilt taken away. Through this gospel you can learn exactly how that is done, and all of those answers come from knowing truth. I know this church is God's church on this Earth because I have felt God's love for me and those around me and I have felt and seen the effects of these truths! This church let's us know what this life is all about!

How I live my faith

I live the gospel of Jesus Christ by constantly trying to become more like Him. By going about doing good, helping others, and just trying to make the people around me happy and feel that God really loves them. Living my faith includes sharing my faith with others. Right now I'm taking a break from college to serve a full time volunteer mission in Taiwan, Taibei and share my testimony everyday that God lives and directs us. I also know that when my mission ends I will continue to share that testimony everyday.
