Hi I'm Justin See.

I was captain of a lacrosse team, I was Senior VP, I am a state champion debater, and now I'm a Mormon serving a mission.

About Me

I was born in California, but I was really raised in Utah, and I was raised in the LDS faith. I have been an active member for my entire life, and I have seen countless blessings come from living my faith. Growing up, I really liked going to school and I read a lot. I spent most of my education in charter schools, where I got really involved. Even though I'm a small guy, I played on a lacrosse team for 5 years. I was also a member of my school debate club for two years, where I eventually become a state champion and went to the national tournament. I served as Senior Class Vice President and worked to plan a lot of activities and dances, and I loved getting involved with my school. I studied for a year in Brigham Young University and then I left for two years to the Guatemala, Guatemala City South Mission. After so many years in the church, I feel like it wasn't until I began to really serve others that I was filled with the love of God and I was converted to my Lord, Jesus Christ. I was privileged to help many come unto Christ. Now I'm a returned missionary and I'm studying statistics at BYU, working at the Missionary Training Center, and trying to find ways to live the Gospel in ordinary life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was always a member of this Church, but I have never doubted its truthfulness. For a while I never knew anything else, but as I became exposed to other religions and lifestyles I knew that I needed to know for myself if this is the true Restored Gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon several times, and after praying about it and seeing the truths within it, I know that it is true. I have seen how my faith helps to keep families together, to keep people away from bad lifestyles, and to find true happiness in this life. I know that if I am faithful I can be saved and live with God again in the next life, so here I am, an active Mormon.

How I live my faith

For me the biggest measure of whether I'm living according to God's will is if I can feel the Holy Ghost with me. I can sense it -- like a like fire inside of my heart, and a clearness and peace in my head. When I have the Spirit I feel peace and I find it easy to obey God's commandments. I try to measure everything I do by whether it invites or scares away the Spirit. Because of that, I love going to Church or to the Temple; I love sharing the Gospel with friends; I try to use social media and the internet to spread the Love of God a little more; I strive to be a positive influence to those around me at all times by giving compliments and encouragement. I'm by no means perfect at these things, but luckily I can feel the Spirit leave me when I'm doing something wrong and I know that I need to change. By constantly changing and repenting I am getting a little more like Jesus Christ every day.
