Hi I'm Ben Yukish

I have lived in Issaquah all my life, and I love it here. I'm a Mormon and proud of it!

About Me

Im 6'1", I love the Lord and the scriptures, and all the things our Heavenly Father does for me. I'm an Issaquah die-hard, and I'm a bit shy. I have 6 other siblings, 3 older and three younger, and I love them all. I play Football (lineman) and I am in my school choir. My favorite Hymn is How Firm a Foundation (85) because of it's message.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and It wasn't until recently that I gained a testimony of it. I know that the generation today is the one that Heavenly Father chose to take on the most challenges and to bring his children unto him. The youth of today have amazing strength, and I know that Heavenly Father will help us through anything we need, as said in my favorite Hymn, "Fear not, I am with thee, so be not afraid, for I am thy god, and will still give thee aid. I'll Strengthen thee help thee, and cause thee to stand." He loves every single person on the earth and knows each of them personally. I know that all my strength comes from him, and all he wants is his children to come back to him.

How I live my faith

I go to youth activities, I have regular scripture study and prayer, and I try to be patient with my siblings. I go to church every sunday, and I participate in all Church connected activities.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Ben Yukish
A testimony consists of your belief in Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, the scriptures, and the restoration of the church through Joseph Smith. It is a statement of your belief in the gospel really. Show more Show less
