Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a husband, brother and son. I'm an NCO in the U.S. Air Force. I'm a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan! I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently stationed in Europe with the Air Force with my wife! We have a crazy cat, and we love to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Catholic and spent some time worshiping at contemporary Christian services. All of it was good too, but I was just drawn to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up around some real good friends who were Mormon. I always felt the spirit in their homes. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't help but remember that feeling, even long after we had all gone our separate ways. I took the next step and read the Book of Mormon, which was something I was apperhensive about for long time. I was so worried it would take away the importance of the Bible, when in fact it really did quite the opposite. It honestly complements the Bible in every way. I found it really is another testament of Jesus Christ, but of his ministry in the Americas. I was baptized into the church at 22, and I do know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. I know that through the fullness of His Gospel I can come to know my Savior more fully, and I can follow the path live with Him again. I mess up all the time going down that path, but I know that with true repentance, my Savior's atonement is always there for me. I give you my testimony that His church really was restored to the Earth through his servant Joseph Smith. We can all live again with God because he loves all of us!

How I live my faith

Right now I am stationed in Europe, so living my faith here is a very unique and amazing experience. Going to church every sunday is important to me. It helps me grow closer to the man I know I want to be, it makes me strive to serve and love others. I learn more and more about my Savior Jesus Christ, I'm constantly growing because of it. I try to live out the principles of the Gospel in every environment. Principles like love one another, forgiveness, and service. I know that when I do this not only does my testimoney of how incredible my Savior is grows, but it helps others come to that too! We are all here to help and strengthen each other, no body is better than anybody else in Heavenly Father's eyes. I read my scriptures and pray daily, not because I feel obligated but because it makes me happy.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Aaron
We believe that families are eternal. We have our families here on earth to strengthen each other and love, but we don't believe that stops after death. It's an essential part of God's plan for us as his children, and it's so important to living a full and happy life! Show more Show less
