Hi I'm Jennifer LaMere

I'm a Mormon. I converted in 2001. I grew up non religious yet still knowing something was missing from my life!

About Me

I am 27 and aspiring country singer. growing up I dealt with alot of bullying and torment from my peers. I grew up hating myself and depressed. In 1993 I lost my grandpa whom I was close to to heart attack. then in 2002 I lost my granmother whom i was close to as well to COPD. She had been really sick for years and we knew she would leave us soon. I had no idea if i would see her again and was very distraught. A fellow co-worker was a member of the LDS faith and as my family took vacation to colorado we stopped at temple square in Utah, I knew upon stepping foot on the grounds that everything was ok and that there was peace and love. I NEEDED TO KNOW MORE! I took the lesson and was baptisted immediatley. With my growing Faith and testimony in Jesus and Heavenly Father I knew I would see my family again someday even after death. I knew that life would be hard but I will always have somewhere to turn for strength. My faith and testimony saved my live, The LDS church saved my life. Thoughts of suicide became weaker as heavenly Fathers love filled my heart during hard times replacing the feelings of dread and hopelessness. Turning to Heavenly father and Jesus I know i can overcome and survive. I hope to achieve my dreams and be able to be a positive role model for those youth that will go thru the thing I endured growing up and be an advocate against bullying. I know this church is true.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I believe. The church was the only light I had in times of pure darkness and dread. Heavenly Father reached thru the darkness and showed me the way to happiness. Through my faith, loyalty and dedication I have endured endless trials (blessings) that have helped me grow and made me stronger. Each day my testimony and strength grows. I am Mormon because I know I can do this on my own. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Loves us all and wants all his children to come home! I am Mormon so i can retunr home and live in happiness.
